There’s a lot of great fitness trackers on the market, but which one is right for you? The Inspire is an entry-level model with basic fitness tracking capabilities, while the Inspire HR is a higher-end device with a variety of improvements. The two trackers are nearly identical in their capabilities, but if you’re looking for something with a bit more to offer, the Inspire HR is the better choice.

Both trackers have a 1.5-inch display with a capacitive touch interface. However, the Inspire HR also has an optical heart rate monitor and can count the number of steps you take, calories you burn, and even sleep quality.

The Inspire HR can also measure your daily stress levels and monitor your weight and body fat percentage. It can sync up to two Bluetooth-enabled devices, like a smartphone, for automatic syncing of data and additional capabilities.

The Fitbit Inspire and Fitbit Inspire HR will both do the following.

Each of these gadgets will track your activity and sleep, as well as provide additional motivation by allowing you to set silent alarms or reminders to get up and exercise. They both feature Female Health Tracking integrated in through the Fitbit app, as well as guided meditation breathing sessions.

Both gadgets will send call, text, and calendar alerts to your wrist, but you won’t be able to reply or respond to them without going to your phone. Fitbit Pay is not supported by any of these two devices.

What does the Fitbit Inspire HR have that the Fitbit Inspire lacks?

What’s the difference between Fitbit Inspire & Fitbit Inspire HR?

To begin with, normal Inspire will not monitor your heart rate. Inspire HR is a company that does exactly that.
The regular Inspire won’t keep track of how many floors you’ve ascended but Inspire HR will.
Inspire HR tracks your sleep stages, including light sleep and REM sleep, which regular Inspire does not.
Inspire HR will track swimming and other fitness activities, however regular Inspire will not.
The regular Inspire does not have the ability to measure your pace and distance via your phone, however, the Inspire HR does.

The factory bands that each one arrives with are another significant distinction. The silicone band on the Inspire has a simple peg-style fastening, however, the band on the Inspire HR is more watch-style. The same bands and accessories will be used by both Inspire and Inspire HR. You have the option to upgrade.

Whichever Fitbit Inspire meets your goals, they’re both great fitness and activity trackers.

Inspire HR sells for about $129 CAD and regular Inspire is about $99, both available from places like Best Buy or Amazon.
