How to Register a Domain Name In Nigeria

In this post, we’ll be focusing on the next step you need to take to start making money online.

This step is all about setting up your domain and webhosting account that you’ll use to build your website.

Building a website in today’s world is no longer difficult as it used to…and in the next lesson, I’ll show you how to do that quickly.

So for now, let’s get your domain name and hosting account ready.

The link above will take you to a page, which when you scroll down looks like this:

 

Once you’re on this page, the next thing to do is to click the “Order button” on Plan One.

 

After clicking the “Order Now” button on Plan one, you will now be taken to a Client Area where you now will be required a domain name for registration. Every hosting account must be attached to a domain name. So this is where you have the option to choose any name you want to use as your domain name.

 

The image below shows what you’ll see after clicking “Order Now” on Plan One.

Next, you type in the word you want to use as your domain name and then click the “check” button found on the page to see if the domain name is available for registration.

If it is available for registration, you can then proceed to the next stage.

If it is not available for registration, it means someone else has registered the name before you. Therefore, you have to choose another name.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please, make sure you use a .com.ng domain name.

The reason for this is that we have already paid the domian name and hosting cost for you. This payment covers only .com.ng domain names. Anything outside that, you’re own your own.

After typing your desired domain name and clicking “Check”, if it is available, the next thing for you is to click the “Add” Button, not minding the N3,000 fee that is displayed.

After clicking the “Add” button, you also have to click the “Continue” button to progress to the next stage.

Once you click the “Continue” button, you will then be taken to the next page where you’ll continue with the registration.

One the next page, you should now see everything in your shopping cart, which is a 1-year domain name for N3,000 and a 1-year Plan One hosting for N15,000, bringing the total to N18,000.

Right on that same page, you’ll see the space to enter a “Promo Code”.

This opportunity to enter a Promo code is made available to you because we have already paid the cost for you.

In the space provided, type in the following code “Godwinpaidforme“.

Once you do, you should see a green notification telling you that the “Promo code is accepted and your order total has been updated”. In addition, the total cost displayed in your shopping cart should go back to zero (0), as displayed by the image below:

Due to the fact that we have already paid a large sum towards the acquisition of the necessary tools you need, we do not want those who are not participating in this training to take undue advantage of this. Once the price has reduced drastically, click the orange “Checkout” Button to go to the next page.

At the next page, you’ll be required to enter some of your information which is known as the billing information as shown in the image below:

 

When you’re done filling those information, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you see “Payment Details”.

Choose “Bank Transfer” and then click on the orange “Complete Order”button at the bottom of the page.

 

Once you click the “Complete Order” button, it will take you to a confirmation page, telling you to about your order number.

Also, an email will be sent to you immediately. It is important that you open your inbox, and click on the link in the email that was sent to you before your account will be activated.

 

 

Note: If something went wrong while filling your personal information on the billings page, you will not be able to complete the order. A red notification will appear at the top of the page, telling you what the problem is. You’ll have to correct it before completing your order.

After your order has been completed, you will receive another email shortly containing the details of your account, including username and password.
