ASRock’s B450M-HDV R4 is an HDV-capable motherboard. An AMD B450 chipset-based motherboard supports AMD Ryzen processors of the Pinnacle Ridge, Summit Ridge, and Raven Ridge generations. In addition to providing a compact and powerful configuration, it will allow the assembly of a desktop or multimedia configuration at an affordable cost. This Micro ATX motherboard features a PCI-Express 16x slot for a graphics card, SATA 6Gb/s, and M.2 connectors for SSD storage as well as numerous USB ports.

PCIe Gen3 x4 Ultra M.2 interface supporting data transfer rates up to 32Gbit/s. Compatible with ASRock U.2 Kits (not included) for installation of U.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 SSDs. The M.2 SATA 6 Gbps interface is also supported for full compatibility. The B450M-HDV motherboard supports the most common M.2 formats, as it can accommodate 2242/2260/2280 types.


The Asrock B450M-HDV R4.0 motherboard supports Triple Monitor technology, allowing you to connect up to three monitors simultaneously without adding an additional graphics card. Because the motherboard does not have a graphics chip, this solution is only compatible with processors that have an integrated graphics controller. HDMI outputs offer resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 24 Hz, 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz, DVI-D resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, and VGA resolutions up to 2048 x 1536.

AMD StoreMI Technology

With this tool, you can combine the speed of your SSD with the capacity of your hard disk into a single, fast, easy-to-use drive. SSDs are fast, but they are expensive. While mechanical hard drives offer large capacities at a low price, they are much slower than SSDs. Using AMD StoreMI technology, these two types of storage are combined into one drive, and the data you access the most is automatically transferred to the SSD, so you get the best of both worlds: SSD responsiveness and mechanical hard disk capacity. For ultra-fast data, you can also use up to 2GB of RAM as a last-level cache.
